The delivery was two days from ordering. I bought this fabric to make face masks as my husband has a marine fish tank. The fabric is so colourful and cheers everyone’s day when they see it as a face mask. As the fish are swimming different ways you can make them lined with the same fabric with different fish each side ,so two in one masks.

Bought this jaguar sewing machine for a replacement for the wife's old brother machine.The difference is amazing the jaguar is quiet and smooth in operation its a very solidly built machine and the wife loves it, shes not stopped sewing since it arrived which was a next day service.Highly recommend this company for excellent service and quaility machines

I had been looking for a sewing machine with a longer arm giving more space for sewing quilts. The innovis VQ2 was the machine of choice. It’s a fabulous machine fitting all requirements. I contacted Gur sewing machines for more information. They were so helpful and responsive to my requirements and my machine arrived within 48 hrs. I would highly recommend this store.

I was grateful to be emailed to alert me that the Janome 725S had come back in stock and I subsequently ordered a machine. This arrived very quickly and I am very pleased with the quality and performance.
If I require anything further I will definitely come back.

Quick service and arrival of items, I have never used a twin needle and brought as wanting to sew using jersey fabric.

Been practicing today, once I managed to thread both needles however just broke one needle which I suspect was something I have done rather than the quality of needle.

Thankfully I brought 2 so will try again and order more.

From enquiry, order, despatch and delivery GUR have proven to be very impressive. In May/June all suppliers appeared to be out of stock. In early July I made a general enquiry to numerous suppliers requesting an update on availability. GUR were the only supplier to respond, unfortunately still quoting late Autumn. Much to my surprise GUR contacted me 2 weeks later to advise that they had new stock. I ordered my machine the same day at 12.20 pm and at 12.45 I received an e-mail advising that my machine HAD BEEN DESPATCHED and it arrived at 9.00am the very next day. I could not be more pleased. I have also not had any response from the other suppliers so they do not deserve my business and GUR most certainly do

As usual, orders dealt with efficiently and the foot arrived shortly after.
However, the Janome gathering foot does not fit my Janome Altier 3 machine.
I would like to know if there is a gathering foot that will fit.

I bought a refurbished machine through GUR and I can't fault the service at all. The sewing machine was at my door even quicker than I'd expected, it had all the bits that were in the description and it was a very reasonable price. Overall I felt very happy with my experience - enough that I would recommend them, and would buy from them again!

The whole experience of purchasing my machine from GUR was excellent. I had been told by other dealers that there was no stock in the UK till at least October, however upon contacting GUR they advised they had stock and it could be a next day delivery. The checkout was easy and painless, the machine arrived the next day, well packaged and the delivery driver waited to ensure the box was taken inside not just left on the door step. I can recommend GUR 100% and will be a repeat customer from now on.

Had a minor panic, I lost my bobbin cover. And, I had to order another. GUR as usual, provided stellar service, and my replacement arrived withi a couple of days. What a relief. They were even prepared to expedite the delivery for me, if I needed it.

I discovered sewing not long ago so I’m a beginner. I chose this overlocker because it claimed that it was easy to use and thread and was reasonably priced. When I opened the box it looked so intimidating, With so many things but the manual is very clear and easy to follow and everything was simple. It comes threaded but it is really easy to thread and straightforward. Once I Watched the dvd and got aquatinted with the machine and It’s components, it was very simple. I am very happy with it. I do have a lot more to learn because it does a lot of things I don’t even understand yet!

Fabrics came jolly quickly, and well packed.
They were a fair price, great fabric, and I know my daughter will be very happy indeed with the cushions I will make from them.

Arrived promptly, took me a couple of days to pluck up courage to open it and try it. I have never used an overlocker before but I am having great fun trying it out, made a pair of leggings for my daughter in law in minutes. Absolutely love this machine. I purchased the Janome concealed zipper foot and it arrived very quickly. The foot was perfect for my machine and I’m delighted with it. Exceptional quality product from Brother. Fits my XL 3600 perfectly. Easy to assemble and install with printed instructions. Makes sewing larger projects easier as it supports the overhanging fabric beautifully. Easy to remove once used. Would highly recommend this product.

This is a great sewing machine. It was a big decision because I was replacing a 70 year old family heirloom that finally died. The instruction manual is simple and easy to follow. I've made several things already, some with thick fabric with rubberised backing. It had no problem at all. The stitches are so neat. I love the stopping stitch and the auto cotton cutter. And the extension table because I make a lot of big things like sofa covers and curtains.

I ordered it to be delivered to Spain and it arrived 5 days later as promised.

Good quality fabric at a very reasonable cost. The patterns on the fabric were crystal clear and very accurate images. Delivery was timely. All in all an excellent experience and will use again.

Not a prolific sewer so somewhat ignorant of the nuances of sewing machine compatibility with accessories. Definitely recommend the machine, with the offer price you get a lot for your money. Easy to set up. Bonus having a printed instruction manual, which I prefer.
I purchased the fabric unseen as I am here on holiday and wanted to make something. The cotton fabric is excellent quality, almost crease resistant. Would certainly use the company again.

Everything came in one package which was wrapped well. I have only used the non stick foot and the stabiliser so far and both was up to my expectations. i am using the bag for a small but heavy cutting machine and it is perfect, very well made - good bargain.

I made the purchase and quickly realise that I had provided an old address via PayPal.
I immediately emailed but it was late and so I called early the next day just to be sure.
The person I spoke to had already packed up my purchase but remembered it and was able to change the address.

I ordered three things that were supposidly in stock. Within hours you returned my money and said none of them were in stock. now you are asking what i thought of my purchases! You need to get your act together if you want to be seen as a company that people can trust to give them their hard earned money

I found searching for the feet that I needed on GUR. The site not only gave me pictures of the feet but also a description of there use. The site was easy to use.

Gur Sewing Superstore has a very professional approach. The order came quickly, and I was able to change the delivery address after ordering. I highly recommend Gur as a supplier!

Great customer service. Unfortunately in my first order, one of my light bulbs was broken.
But after a quick email explaining this it was replaced immediately.

Had waited for 3 months for a local company to obtain a Janome Sewing Machine for my wife's birthday. Eventually trawled the internet, noticed GUR website saw a more expensive, but superior machine, they had in stock. Ordered yesterday at 1.30pm, delivered this morning by DPD at 8.40am. Great service from GUR, my wife is delighted by her belated birthday present and I'm a hero again!!

I owned, from new, another brand embroidery machine which didn't get much use at all in all the time I had it, until recently, and just when I started to enjoy it, the touchscreen stopped responding and, being so old, was unrepairable.

I took a long time debating in my mind whether to buy another embroidery machine, trying to justify whether the expense would be worth it to me personally as I was not in business. Eventually, I made my decision and decided that the Brother Innov-is V5LE was the one I wanted . I found GUR on the internet and, having purchased small supplies online from them in the past, decided to order from them.
