Purchased software to use with Janome Atelier 9. Much easier to use than previous software I had for old machine. I'm enjoying learning to use it and creating designs to embroider.

I have been looking for a machine for a while. A friend recommended to get the Brother Innov-Is 15. This machine is great for beginners and those who are experienced. It is quite easy to set up with a clear step by step instruction booklet with diagrams. A great little machine for sewing enthusiasts. The machine has 16 different stitches and comes with a variety of different accessories too. It also has a 3 year warranty. A great buy- thank you Gur Sewing.
 

Had been looking at Jaguar overlocker s due to the front opening ease of threading as I have bad arthritis in my hands and have been unable to use other ones. Rang for advise and staff were fantastic in helping me decide which one which best and actually saved me quite a bit. Machine is fantastic and we as delivered the next day! I am new to using them as couldn’t even thread one, but am now a complete convert. So simple to use and beautiful stitching. Service from GUR was fantastic, highly recommend!

Thank you all at GUR, especially Palma who dealt with my enquiry and subsequent purchase. I wanted to buy a Janome M7 as a surprise present for my wife, just the UK price was more than I could afford. After much searching, I was incredibly fortunate to find one on GUR's website as an Ex Demo clearance machine. Palma took the time to accurately and clearly answer my questions, offering to send photos of the machine for me to see it's "as new" condition. I was extremely impressed by the attentive and professional service that I received from GUR. It was an easy and confident purchase for me and I'm very grateful for the help that I received. Positive experience kept me informed about my order slightly different to my original needle plate but still works as good as my original tested it out on embroidery and works fine all in very pleased

Thank you for the very quick delivery of my embroidery hoop. The size of the hoop makes it ideal when sewing smaller designs thus saving fabric/stabiliser. I do not always want to use the very large hoop that came with my machine.

I ordered my coverstitch machine through recommendation on a sewing group. The website was very easy to look through and order I was very impressed with the speedy delivery i ordered in the late afternoon and it was delivered to my home before dinner time the next day not even 24 hour after I ordered that’s what I call fantastic service by the way I love my machine so easy to thread works like a dream. This is a great piece of kit, fits perfectly onto the Janome HD9 and makes freehand machine embroidery or free motion embroidery a breeze. High quality, well built, sturdy item.

5 stars for the product but only 3 for packaging. The items received quickly, which was great. Unfortunately the needles had come out of the holders and were loose in the packaging. I managed to find them all without them being damaged or bent and without pricking myself, but was disappointed that this had happened.

Have just purchased Jaguar 377 after not sewing for many year was quite unsure as to what to get but after chatting online with Steve I finally made up my mind many thanks looking forward to getting back into making my own clothes again.

Amazing delivery,in just under 24 hrs. Had a little dabble,the stitch on this machine is better than factory ones I work on. Very sturdily built it doesnt wander across the table at all like alot do. Last year i bought a jaguar 403 sewing machine which is also worlds away from a machine i had years ago which i never could get right so it stayed in the cupboard til i gave it away. I would certainly recommend these jaguar machines i think they are exceptional in performance and price. I don't think I would look any further than gur if you are looking for a new sewing especially if you want it super quick. I know where to come when I'm ready for accessories I may need for both machines.

Great machine. It’s my first overlocker and it came very quickly. The machine came fully threaded up but there are very clear instructions in both the machine and information booklet for when I need to do it again. Very pleased with the speed of service and the quality of the machine.

The special foot arrived quickly and was as described. GUR kindly identified the foot I needed for my Janome and it was the correct one. I've only just been able to use it and it has improved my sew-in-the-ditch technique. I need more practice but I'm pleased I bought it.

Phoned GUR on 9th February about the Jaguar 489 overlocker, after doing a bit of research. After talking a bit more about the machine with someone at the store I decided to purchase (this is my first overlocker). The machine arrived the next day. After setting it up and having a little practice, I had a few questions, so emailed Customer Support. Parmar phoned me the following day and talked me through my queries. I was very happy with the personal service. The machine is a dream to thread (which is the bit of overlocker use that everyone seems to dread). A couple of small negatives with this machine - the handbook is not as comprehensive with instructions and advice as I feel it could be, and there isn't really a reliable and easy way of seeing where to position the fabric to feed it through according to the seam allowance provided on the pattern you're using.

My purchase was for an Elna 1/4" seam foot ,my request was dealt with quickly and efficiently When foot arrived it would not fit my Elna machne.I emailed re problem and was told the foot was for Elna front loading bobbin, had I known this from the advertised item I would not have ordered.
GUR said I could return the seam foot .I did this and am grateful to receive a full refund very quickly.
Good company, but could give better detail in items advertised especially when older models are concerned.

I’ve been looking at this iron for months.... finally talked myself into purchasing. I love it. I’m having issues with my wrist and this really helps. Also I have a very bad habit of forgetting to turn the iron off! This iron addresses that issue to. Only had it working for a few days but impressed so far,

Great Service from GUR. My new machine arrived on time and securely packaged. All I could ask for and more. The website is really clear about the options available with each machine which was really useful as I wasn't sure about the level or brand of machine I need for the things I want to make. I also liked the links to the accessories that go with the machine and I've been looking to buy some of these for quilting. GUR is a goldmine of compeitively priced craft and sewing items and I'll definitely be coming back. .

I had an old Janome, missing a standard foot. I asked for advice on whether they were able to supply a suitable foot as I had no idea which one I needed. I received a rapid response and I was able to order immediately and received the foot a few days later in the post. It fitted and worked and I have been able to restart an old hobby. Excellent efficient service.

Very happy with machine and quick delivery, only down side I thought GUR might be interested to know is that DPD left it (box was not double wrapped and clearly showed the contents) in an outside porch by a main road in the pouring rain - a bit worrying for a high value item 😬 luckily it was only a bit soggy on outside!

Quick turnaround, good price, excellent communication. Recommended! I was delighted to be able to source the small spool cap, I lost the one that came with my machine and had been using a large spool cap for ages which actually made sewing harder. Should have found GUR sooner!

I bought the machine paid for it expecting it to be delivered and I got a email saying it is no longer in stock it should be saying the item was out of stock before I bought the machine so really I was not happy but I got a refund

So sorry Anita, The weekend you ordered was so busy and we had no staff working the weekend to take the item of the website, we had 3 of the Brother Cover hem machines in stock and had sold 5, we ended up disappointing another customer.

We always offer to provide the product as soon as back in stock and on this occasion you requested a refund which was refunded ASAP.

Great service ordered received despatch confirmation an hour later and my machine arrived first thing the next morning. Machines out of stock at most suppliers but lots in stock here.

I ordered a pin tuck foot for my Brother sewing machine, it had to be compatible with my machine. GUR had listed every code for most sewing machines and so I was able to chose the correct foot for my machine with confidence. Other websites I visited for spares didn’t give any or as much information about their products as GUR. The foot arrived promptly and was perfect for my machine. I would happily purchase from them again.

I was a little bit nervous of buying online as in normal times I would have shopped locally, however I had a conversation and some advice as to which machine to buy with a lovely straight talking man called Parmar (hope I've spelt that right) who put my mind at rest. I ordered straight away and received my lovely machine 2days later. Unfortunately the machine was broken but Parmar, true to his word sent out a replacement straight away and picked up the original machine at the same time. Still learning how to use my new machine, got one to grow into but am pleased with it so far. 5/5 for customer service.

I made an online purchase and unfortunately the item was out of stock. GUR contacted the supplier for me and was told that the item was out of stock for 4 mths, my money was returned by GUR immediately.

The friendly staff maintained contact with me to keep me updated throughout.

My only reason for giving 4 stars is because the item was out of stock and and my order wasn't fulfilled.
