Machine arrived quickly and couldn't wait to try it...3 hours later could not get it to work..Next morning phoned and was told engineer would call back p.m...Engineer called back and told me that it sounded as if belt had slipped in transit and I could either have it collected for return or maybe with his help put belt back..hubby managed to sort the belt with engineers assistance.Could not ask for better service..they were very appologetic and helpful

Had some initial problems as the in stock machine I wanted was damaged and as it was so close to Christmas getting another machine in time was difficult. However GUR came up trumps with an unbeatable offer on the next model up with which I am highly delighted. Excellent service, thank you.

Ordered my sewing machine on Sunday and it arrived 2 days later on Tuesday which, I feel, is excellent service. I'm only a beginner so bought a fairly basic model. I didn't even know how to thread a machine but after following the DVD and reading the booklet, have almost completed my first ever tunic top.

Great service. Fast delivery. GUR were very helpful and suggested an upgrade at a good price. The Janome overlocker machine is replacing an old model I used for 6years of daily use in my clothing alteration shop. It was still going strong but I retired. This is a very good company. Highly recommended. Will buy my next replacement embroidery machine from them soon.

When I was asked to make a phone call before my order was processed I cynically assumed it was to tell me some bad news, this bit missing or that bit doubled in price! To my amazement and delight it was to ascertain I had the best model for the work I had to do. By the end of my conversation with Billy I had ordered an upgrade model but cancelled six of the attachments I had previously ordered, as they came as part of the new package.The final surprise was I paid no more for the new order. I found this truly amazing. How often do you get such service without there being anything in it for the server? I don't recall ever having such fantastic service from a company before. I will certainly be recommending G.U.R. to every interested party and thank you so much for using your expertise for my benefit entirely.It was very much appreciated.

FANTASTIC COMPANY. Telephoned to check if the Polti Forever Vaporella was in stock, told that it was and if I placed my order before 2.00pm it would go that day. 10-pack of Janome plastic bobbins arrived speedily. £4 delivery cost seems excessive for such a lightweight package. I will be surprised if this is posted on the website. GUR: States on the website orders under £30 you will be charged £4 postage, no costs are hidden, when an item is put in the basket the website states how much more you need to spen before postage becomes free....

I felt that my purchase was confirmed and it was processed within a few days, but I still have no information about how long it will take to get here -- days, weeks?? When I purchase things on-line in the US, they let you track your package to see where it is every day, so if you needed to be home when it is dropped off, you could actually plan for that. Otherwise, I'm so happy to receive my new foot. I'll let you guys know how I did with it.
