I recently purchased this machine and I’m extremely pleased with it. It is very robust and has a large work area in the hoops. The on-screen editing function is excellent. I particularly like the fact that the embroidery hoop bar is not sticking out of the end of the machine but contained within the throat area, making it ideal for using in a smaller space, although the machine comes with a large extension addition to use with the huge biggest hoop. The team at GUR were very helpful and my machine arrived within 24 hours. Highly recommend both machine and dealer.

I purchased this from GUR as I had, through my own fault, damaged the original on my Brother V5LE. My husband fitted this for me, following a video link provided by Brother Customer Services, and although it was a fiddly job it worked perfectly. I would certainly recommend to anyone needing to change theirs.

I bought this for my wife as an early birthday present, although her birthday is in November so I will have probably forgotten by then and buy her something else. She asked for this as her other one was not working as well as she wanted. This one I have been informed works seemlessly (no pun intended) and she is very happy with it in general. The one comment she did make was that she was surprised for the price that a trim tray was not included.

After being sent the wrong sewing foot this was quickly corrected. I then found I had ordered the wrong foot. After sending this back I ordered the correct foot and was refunded very quickly. So thank you GUR for your excellent service I will be ordering from you again.

I would highly recommend this company. Ordered my overlocker Early hours Friday morning, was expecting delivery following Monday but it arrived on the Saturday. Fabulous service and great machine, even for a newbie like me

Great Brother machine, im very pleased with my overlocker, it does everything it says and the stitching is clean with great tension mangement.
it is a bit noisy but most overlockers are so it was expected, the free arm is an excellent feature and it is very easy to thread.

Excellent iron. Easy to use (I have RA and it makes my life so much easier) good instructions with it, an extra long flex. ideal if you are limited with plug sockets.

Upon enquiry about suitability of this foot for my machine, the pre-sales service I got from GUR was excellent. The Husqvarna Viking Designer Brilliance 80 wasn’t listed, but I’d assumed (correctly as it turned out) that it would be category 7 like the other Designer series machines that WERE listed. The price was good, delivery swift. Couldn’t have done better. Haven’t used the foot yet as went on holiday then! Thank you team.

I purchased this Jaguar overlocker to replace the one I already had, another brand, I have problems with both my hands, and I can’t bend my fingers from the middle joints, so I was having a really bad time trying to thread my other machine. Oh wow I wish I’d known about the Jaguar brand sooner, threading this overlocker is a breeze, even for me, just so easy. I did an online search and found GUR sewing machines and the price was fantastic and I got a set of extra feet too, bargain in my book.
Delivery was super quick and the machine was packed just great. I’m thrilled to bits with the service I received. Thank you GUR.

Great customer service - quick return phone calls and emails. Very happy with the advice from representative that I spoke to - very knowledgeable. New to overlockers but found this very easy to use. I have used on a few projects now and gives great professional finish. Threading is easy following the video on this site/ instruction manual and the clear colour coding on the machine. Quick delivery and good offer on threads and bag in bundle and with free feet this was a bargain. Overlocker was on sale so additional savings (especially as price went down the day after I had ordered and the company refunded the extra saving) Very happy sewer.

Fully satisfied with this company. I read a few reviews before ordering my overlocker. Delivery was within a few days and I had an email on the day to let me know the details. The packaging of the product was good. Arrived in good condition.
Love my overlocker, never used one before. Came with a DVD but we don’t have a player atm.
Found a utube video of a similar model which was very useful when learning how to change threads when the one’s sent with the machine needed replacing.

Such incredible service! I placed my order on Sunday afternoon and received my machine on Tuesday morning! The machine is just superb. I had a Janome overlocker for many years and with age, I found the threading becoming more and more difficult for my old eyes to see, so I treated myself to the air thread and only wish I had bought it years ago! I would highly recommend both GUR for prompt service and the Janome air thread 2000D machine!

I ordered the Janome 5270QDC on a Saturday and it was on my doorstep the following Tuesday. Everything was just as advertised. The machine comes with a large range of accessories including a quilting kit with a walking foot.

GUR is a good company to order from. It was easy to place the order online and I was kept up to date on when my order would arrive. Another good thing is that they use DPD for their deliveries which means you will be given a 1hr slot of when your order will arrive.

Great service, phoned and spoke to Parma, gave us brilliant advice and we purchased a Jaguar Novum Supalock 488.
Arrived within 24hrs, worked straight out of box and has everyday use, and is brilliant. Because it front opens, thread is a synch. Highly recommend shop, Parma and the overlocker.

Absolutely love this machine. The extra features such as auto thread trim and needle drop are such simple yet such useful things to have. I’ve already sent many hours discovering all the other features and stitches!

I have brought two machines in the last 12 months from GUR and the service and aftercare is exceptional. I had the Innov-is VQ2 personally delivered in time for my anniversary which was a lovely touch. The machine is amazing and very quiet.

I ordered 3 m of fabric, which was reduced in price. Unfortunately, GUR had just two metres in stock, and advised me promptly. Having said I would have two metres, GUR refunded the difference in price, and sent the fabric - there is actually just over 2.5 metres, probably enough for what I had in mind, so I was delighted.

I cannot fault the service provided by GUR. They delivered as promised and staff were exceptional especially Palma. I bought a Jaguar 401 to complete an existing Jaguar overlocker 489. The DQS 401 is compact and sews beautifully. I initially ordered an ex model which had a missing thread guide, it was collected quickly for a replacement. Palma was really helpful.

My machine was a birthday present and I am thrilled with it. I have taken my time reading the instructions and learning how to thread it up. It wasn’t as difficult as I had envisaged. Today I started making an outfit for my great granddaughter and having the overlocker helps to give a more professional finish. The dvd was helpful to view before I started. The machine is quite solid and well made which means it does not move around when in use.
