After my pup ate the power cable for my nice new Newhome machine I was at a bit of a loss as to how to replace it, but after I sent an email to G.U.R. they gave me the code and price and a prompt replacement. Oh and the cable wasn't plugged in at the time so the pup is fine. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

Within twenty minutes of ordering we had a call saying the machine ordered wasn't available, but would we accept an alternate upgrade...at no extra cost to us and to arrive the next day! It did and is perfect. I couldn't ask for more or better....thank you!

Went to visit the store to take a look at the machines that were available. Staff were absolutely brilliant and spent loads of time showing us which machine was which and what features they had. There was no hard sell on anything - they just wanted to help us make the right decision for us.

I visited the store in Birmingham last week to purchase a machine and I cannot say a bad word about them! The service was excellent, I was shown how to use the machine and then had a chance to try it myself. I was particularly impressed as the man who demonstrated the machine informed me he isn't the person who normally does this and knows little about sewing, he could have fooled me. He gave really great instructions and was very patient! I have already recommended GUR to my friends and am looking forward to y next visit. The service is great, the prices are great! I'm a very happy customer :-)

Pleased with quick delivery, cotton holder is very good but ordered curved embroidery scissors and have been sent manicure scissors so not happy as particularly wanted fine cutting points, manicure scissors dont cut to the points, never mind, lesson learned.

After having ordered two sewing machines by mistake G.U.R promptly refunded the difference. My machine arrived very quickly yesterday (as I live in Spain) and I am thrilled with it. A*M*A*Z*I*N*G* service I ordered mid afternoon and arrived next day post. As I live in a "remote area" this is a miracle. Some companies won't deliver or charge £30.00 extra because of our postcode This was not the the case with G.U.R.Sewing Machines
