As a seasoned quilter decided it was time to upgrade my machine. My existing Janome has been excellent but the 6" throat can be a challenge with larger or bulkier quilts.

After researching and deciding on my budget I opted for the Pfaff which had a 10" inch throat and many refinements my Janome lacked, i.e. automatic setting adjustment, automatic thread cut and a 'hands free' sewing function. Prior to the machine being delivered I watched an detailed demo on Youtube so that I could quickly get the machine up and running and in use.

The machine is brilliant and I am very happy with it. The purchase from GUR was problem free and the 'next day delivery' true to the offer.

Pleasure to deal with, had my sewing machine the next day as promised. Love my new machine the sales team said I would be delighted with it and they were right!

They were out of stock of part of order and held back the rest of the order until I phoned to see why I hadn't got my stuff. I cancelled the out of stock stuff and they sent out what they had. Prompt delivery after my phone call and well wrapped.

Items work very well on my Janome embroidery machine giving excellent results at a great price.

We have since ordered other items which came to us without any hold up.

I purchased an Elna Sewfun machine from you to give to my granddaughter. I had previously bought one for the other granddaughters on the other side of the family, and they were able to use the machine themselves,(with little help from grandma). I bought this one as I had already purchased a very simple machine from our local shop, as his child was 2 years younger and I thought she may not be able to use a bigger one. Wish I had saved my money! That machine broke and was unable to be mended, so I have returned to GUR as I can trust them, their machines and wonderful service. I recently purchased a Pfaff 4.2 sewing machine from you. Since then I have placed two more orders. All received within a few days. Very good service and easy to use website. Very pleased with my machine. Brilliant to use for my patchwork and Quilting.

The gentleman who took my order, was extremely courteous and friendly, told me they may not have all the items in stock, but assured me they would be ordered and posted separately. Within two days I had received all items ordered. This was amazing service and I was most impressed.
The only thing that could have been a problem, was that the packaging envelope had torn. I pointed this out and was told, again, in a friendly manner, that it would be passed on to the dispatch dept.

I will certainly be using GUR in the future.

Excellent service & prompt delivery of an excellent machine. I was also sent free gift pack with scissors, extension table ,threads, needles bobbin box etc. I love the machine . It allows me to sew without the foot pedal and is a pleasure to use. I am looking forward to doing some serious quilting !!
