Great machine! Comes already loaded with 4 reels of cotton and sample of stitching. Therefore it's easy to test the stitching instantly. Tested only on woven cotton material so far but the stitching is perfect, I have had a combo in the past (Babylock Evolve) until the air threading button snapped. This is a nice looking machine and good value compared to Brother and Janome which only do similar stitches. Additionally, it's a nice looking machine so fully recommend.

I am very happy with the service I have received from GUR, this Brother overlocker is a great piece of equipment, and GUR was the best price out there, I also reached a free overlocker bag and was offered reduced price on extra feet available for the machine. The deliver was prompt and well packaged. A couple of the extra items I ordered were out of stock but I received regular emails keeping me updated and offering a refund if I did not want to wait. All in all excellent customer service and pricing. Would buy from again.

GUR was the cheapest site I could find this overlocker, and as a bonus there was a free gift and free delivery. Ordering was simple. The machine arrived on the Tuesday (after ordering on the Saturday). Well packaged. Got set up and running very quickly. Very happy with it so far.
Well, what can I say, ordered the Overlock at 14.03 pm on Thursday, 29th June, 2023 and it was with me at 9.50 a.m. on Friday, 30th June, 2023 and up and running by 10.30 a.m. finishing jobs as my other machine is sadly out of service. The 2104 is a nice compact machine and it runs extremely smooth. I am hoping we can become good friends in no time. Excellent service GUR and Parcelforce. Hope to do more business in the future. My original order didn't arrive (something to do with Royal Mail), but as soon as I notified GUR they sent out a replacement order immediately which arrived in a few days. It was so nice to get such a prompt and positive response from them.

I have to say I received an excellent service when I purchased a sewing machine from GUR. Being unfamiliar with modern machines I had a problem threading it and a lovely man called Palma video called me to show me the process. He was clearly familiar with all the machines and so helpful and friendly. I don't think you could have asked for a better service than that after buying online and it was such a refreshing change to deal with someone who knew their products so well.
Very easy to order and was delivered within 24 hours. The machine comes ready threaded but is super easy to thread, if needed. It is much quieter than my previous overlocker. Would recommend both GUR and this machine.
The customer service has been excellent. From the the first phone call letting them know of the issue, the problem solving while I was in the phone to save needing to take the machine away.
When that didn’t solve the issue, the next day collection of my machine. I received a phone call letting me know the issue and, because the issue was not repairable, I was sent a brand new machine the very next day.

Very happy with my Coverstitch machine. It arrived safely within 24 hours of ordering and, despite being an open box purchase , so a discounted price, everything seems brand new and well packaged.
This fabric is of excellent quality. I bought a metre to go with another metre I already had. I’ve made a cover for my grandson for his cot by putting some Soft and Bright batting inside. The fabric is warm and snuggly and has made a lovely lightweight, hard wearing cover. I am very pleased. (just wish I could have bought the flannelette in the red colour way too but it isn’t available)

I purchased the Jaguar 489 Overlocker at end of Nov. Palmer at G.U.R. dealt with my query & the order. Nothing was too much trouble. Palmer is a genuine, knowledgeable gentleman. I ordered it at lunch time and it was swiftly delivered the following morning. This was also the same when I ordered the Jaguar 405 Sewing Machine, previously.
I have no experience of Overlockers at all. After reading up & familiarising myself with the machine, I put knowledge into practice. I initially had a few little teething problems, but I have now altered trousers, my partner thought that was the way I bought them! That is a compliment for first attempt. I love both my Jaguar machines, I wouldn't give them up for anything!

Excellent overlocker.
I ordered the overlocker on a Wednesday evening and it was delivered on Friday afternoon.
It is easy to thread and very quiet in use. I am really pleased with my purchase.
Great overlocker was very pleased said I would never buy one but this is such a good little machine I have 2 brother sewing machines and a Pfaff but thought I never needed a overlocked thought they were very difficult to use but unpacked it and whoopee I made a great sweatshirt in one afternoon.It’s such an easy machine to use and very neat stitching everything you need to know on a CD or you tube very happy with my purchase .
If I could leave a higher rating I would. GUR excelled as always. I wouldn't consider myself a ‘regular’ shopper, I tend to save & then purchase a number of items as my project needs evolve, & pick suppliers as appropriate. Every encounter has been for something quite different, but never ever a disappointment in service. Placed this order to take advantage of excellent sale discounts, knowing that dispatch & post may take quite a while given time of year pressures & strikes etc. GUR delivered & then some. Accessories suppliers for my coverstitcher are not very easy to find but GUR had them all. Same with my overlocker. Full complement of feet options - awesome. Ordering very late on NYE & getting my parcel on the 4th - perfection. Accidentally deleted my invoice email, it was resupplied promptly on request - outstanding. Fantastic no-fuss honest customer service, always one of my favourites. Thank you

This item came quickly and was well packaged. My partner
fitted it to my Janome embroidery machine very easily. It is a godsend, enabling me to choose my five colours for my designs before I start my projects. There is no hassle in threading the colours as I need them and so much quicker to sew/embroider as they are to hand. This is the best attachment that has been bought for my machines.

I’m thrilled with this machine so far and have made multiple garments on it in stretch fabrics. It’s easy to use and to thread using the self threading mechanism, no more eye strain! There is a GUR video on the threading mechanism and I managed to do it first time. The machine feels sturdy and of good quality and was great value for money in the sale.
The description doesn’t mention that it comes with a hard case which is excellent.
I’m a fairly new sewer making garments for myself and family members. This machine has made things so much easier than my old inherited machine which was a little temperamental.
Purchased the frame last minute to complete some Christmas sewing projects. It arrived quickly and in good condition. I’ve ordered from GUR before. Always good service.
This was a Christmas present for my daughter. I was concerned it would get delayed in the postal strikes but delivery was very fast and efficient.
Ordered online having been able to find exactly the right foot for my Atelier 9. Dispatched very promptly. Got caught in the Christmas post, but arrived in very good time. Pressed into service on arrival to making pillow case piping for floating headboard. Great price and great service.

It was so nice to be able to order genuine Janome parts, there are so many choices online it was a struggle to get the replacement foot I needed, luckily somebody recommended GUR and I am glad. I would certainly pass on the recommendation.
Loving the iron it does everything I wanted and best price online. Order was shipped on time for next day delivery on Friday, but carrier let you down with constant delays so item not received until Monday. Not your fault but very frustrating. Would order from you again.
The product is fine, the issue is with delivery times and the vendors not being upfront about any delays. The embroidery hoop took 3 weeks to arrive, I missed a deadline to complete something but would have understood if at the time of ordering GUR had said they were out of stock or there was a delay. When I enquired GUR replied telling me my item would be dispatched that day, however it was another 3 days before it was sent, by second class mail, possibly then getting caught up in the postal strike.
I am disappointed, not with the product but feel that GUR could have been a bit more open about delivery times on the website , and honest in their emails.
