GUR were efficient and everything proceeded smoothly as far as I can tell. My lovely new machine was despatched from them in time. Annoyingly my experience with ParcelForce was less stellar. My machine was shown as out for delivery on the collect day, along with an impressive link to a local map, allededly showing where the driver and package was. It was due in an hour slot just after 4pm. When it did not arrive by end of day I figured that it woud be out for delivery next day. When by 11am next day it did not show out for delivery I started the game of trying to find a contact number to chase my machine. After a fair bit of detective work, and some luck, I got through to a pleasant lady who said she though the package was back out for delivery, but it didn't show no her screen!!
The sewing machine finally arrived later that afternoon, but sadly I had already had to leave, so my daughter got the excitment of unpacking!
Obviously this was beyond the control of GUR, but I IMPLORE them to consider using DPD perhaps as an alternative, as the inflexiblity of ParcelForce must cause problems to other customers.
GUR still get 5 stars for a quick despatch and a well packed, lovely fun sewing machine!

The foot works fine but there was a problem with postage. I know the postal system is a mess but I upgraded my postage. Sadly it didn’t arrive on the day specified and a customer’s order was delayed. GUR kindly refunded my postage. I will buy from them again.

My Janome HD9 is a great machine.
You sometimes need to adjust the thread tension when using different thread's.
This is not a problem and there are lots of YouTube videos on line

I purchased a F580 Brother sewing machine with a Extention table and a Magnetic frame on line. I received a phone call to tell me that the frame which I had ordered would not fit my machine. The delivery was very fast. The embroidery frame I ordered was for a gift. It arrived in a very shabby broken packaging and was disappointing.
I have returned the item and added a note to exchange it for a smaller Frame I can use, and I will purchase a gift elsewhere. I have yet to have acknowledgment of this.
The thread I ordered were great quality just a shame the frame packaging was not great.

Smooth transaction as is usual from GUR however the table arrived with instructions that were in Chinese which I cannot read.

The diagrams are reasonable enough to follow but some of the fixtures on the frame had to be loosened when it was put on the table and then retightened in order to align the bolts, otherwise the frame would not have fitted correctly.

There were four nuts that that were not clear from the diagrams where to fix them and due to the lack of English instructions I had no idea where they should go. I am hoping it has not left the table less secure than it should be.

I ordered a new overlocker 26th September 2023. My order was delivered in less than 24 hours. Excellent service & I'm very happy with my purchase. Would definitely order again. Many thanks.

Purchased as a lightweight and sturdy machine to take to workshops, which if fulfils. Delighted with the range of stitiches, easy to drop feed dogs and the needle threader. A well made machine. I have a Jaguar overlocker and highly recommend this brand. Excellant value for the money.

The ex-demo machine appeared to be almost new, in its original packaging and complete with all the accessories. The delivery was quick and efficient. The machine itself is just what I was expecting and I am very pleased with it - and the price!

All in all, I was very impressed with the overall experience.

The Gritzler Cover Hem stitch machine arrived on time,securely packaged and everything in good order. It took a couple of days to get used to it, but soon got the hang of it and the results were very good.
After a few days a fault developed where the machine would not run. Filled in a form on their website and soon got a reply telling me to try a couple of things, which I did, and after that the machine has been running fine.
I have no hesitation in recommending GUR.

I was looking to change my machine and decided on the Novum Pro. I had a couple of questions before making my purchase so phoned GUR and received great customer service. Once again I received professional and courteous service from the staff at GUR, Palma in particular, My machine was purchased after lunch and arrived at 5 past 8 the following morning. I was looking for a lightweight sewing machine to take to craft sessions. The description was very detailed and enabled me to make comparisons with others in the same price range. I am loving my new sewing machine. I recently started dressmaking and decided it was time to upgrade my old sewing machine. I chose this one after using it at a local sewing class. It was so quiet, easy to use and had all the functions I could possibly need and a few more too. After looking around I found GUR was selling them cheaper than anywhere else. I was particularly impressed with the speed and efficiency of the ordering process. I ordered my machine late one afternoon and received it the following day. It has been a great experience all round.

Ordering my overlocking machine was very easy and I had excellent service when I made a quick enquiry on the phone. My well packaged machine arrived the next day so I can only say I was very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to use GUR Sowing Superstore for anything that I may need in the future.

I worried about ordering this coverstitch, a) because I hadn't used this company before. And b) I had never heard of Gritzner machines.
The coverstitch was less than half the price of the cheap coverstich machines and you usually get what you pay for.. I researched gritzner and realised the company had been bought out by Pfaff years ago, who were obviously using the name as budget entry model.

Ordered online and paid via my phone Gpay. Delivered at lunchtime the following day.

The Coverstitch does everything I want it to once I got used to the different way of sewing. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended 👌

After much deliberation, I bought a Brother Inov-is A50 from GUR Sewing Machines which fitted my price bracket and necessary features.

The machine arrived after just a few days - (I had placed the oder on a Friday evening).
It was well packaged and came with a quilting kit as a free gift, worth a considerable amount if buying separately

I am delighted with the machine which is easy to use, stitches evenly and has a comprehensive choice of facilities including decorative stitches and an automatic buttonhole maker.
All in all an excellent and easy purchase from an excellent supplier that I would recommend and use again for other equipment.

Really easy to use and gives you a professional finish. The manual is also very helpful and has clear instructions. It is a sturdy machine. I mainly used it on delicate fabrics so far and with those it works perfectly. Delivery was also very quick, I am happy with my purchase.

I made a mistake creating an account. I emailed GUR in the evening and then rang the next morning. The employee I spoke to was already working on my query and within 5 minuets had sorted it for. He was polite efficient and helpful.

I am very pleased with this machine. The instructions are so easy to follow as they are clearly written in simple language with plenty of pictures and diagrams. The machine itself appears to be a quality build. It is very easy to use and thread, it sews beautifully, it is easy to control the speed too. While sewing it is not too noisy.
I recommend this machine as it is a pleasure to use and I look forward to many years of use.

I have been having a fabulous time, making professional looking garments and a faux fur animal rug for my grandson. The machine has been easy to thread and has handled difficult materials with ease.
