The Sewing machine was just as expected. The service from G.U.R. was excellent. Kept informed of order process, and fast delivery.

Shoulder straps were as expected, and fine. The bulb was packed in a flat paper bag and then into a small jiffybag (with no other protection) and arrived completely smashed. I asked for a refund which was given within a couple of days.

Excellent price and service and fast delivery from GUR sewing machines. Purple tip needles are fantastic, I use them as quilting and top stitch needles & they easily go through multiple layers. I use blue tips for a variety of less challenging needle situations and they are very good too.

Bought for my wife who says: Very fast efficient delivery. All ok on opening up. Machine is lovely. Haven't tested all the features yet but has a good range of stitches. Making bunting and grandaughters dress at the moment. Have not looked at embroidery feature but will do soon. Very easy and user friendly sewing machine. I have returned to machine sewing after some years gap and this was a dream to set up and go. The accessories / bed area could fit a bit better. Could do with on off switch for light - not always needed but I can't see where to switch off.
Great for: Really easy bobbing loading and threading of needle. Good range of stitches to suit all. Foot lift up lever can lift further if thicker fabric is needed. Fairly quiet to run. Feels capable yet easy to use.

Haven't used the pattern yet but it looks like the instructions are clear. Despatch of the pattern to me was fast and the discount offered was great.

sturdy bag .nice colour with the hint of pink i have a brother sewing machine fits well the only reason i gave it a 4 is the zip its plastic and only time will tell how it holds up ...so far good and great price

I recently joined a local sewing class where I used an overlocker for the first time. I was very impressed with what they can do but felt it was an expensive item. However, I did look on the net at the prices and saw they were a lot cheaper than I expected. However, I knew I didn't want to buy ome from the television craft channels or one of the big catalogue chains. I have purchased from GUR before but only odd items of haberdashery and their service and prices were good, I saw the Brother which has really good recommendations. I was pleased to see that I could buy it over two months which clinched the deal as it meant I could also get the extension table at the same time instead of buy it later. The delivery was excellent especially as it was a weekend purchase. I haven't used it yet due to time but will be shortly as I will be making some cushion covers.

I am pleased to have stuck to my decision to buy from a "proper" sewing machine shop even though GUR are not local to me. I woild be happy to recommend GUR to anyone. I

Have dealt with GUR in the past and was very impressed with their service. This time I was equally impressed! The service was excellent and as a company are very easy to deal with. I didn't require much in the way of advice regarding the machine I purchased (Brother 4234D Serger) as I had done a lot of research, but the few queries I did have were promptly answered. The machine arrived very quickly and in perfect working order. I am delighted with both the machine and GUR. I would definitely recommend them.

Really pleased with my new overlocker easy to thread works like a dream. Very helpful customer service when the bulb was not working posted a replacement by first class post. Would definitely use again.

This is a great machine! It's the first overlocker machine I've ever used and was so simple to thread, which I was dreading due to hearing such horror stories about them. The instructions were easy to follow and once I got started, I was well away and haven't had any problems at all. If you're considering this machine, just go for it!

My items arrived quickly and were excellent quality. I was very impressed with the range of items on the website. However I am not entirely sure that the zig zag foot is an official brother item and at the price I maybe foolishly assumed it would be.

I couldn't have asked for a better deal and absolutely love my Janome 15000 which was delivered in less than 48 hours. All staff were a pleasure to speak to and I would unreservedly recommend GUR to anyone looking to buy a new sewing machine.

Order came In undamaged before projecte date. Granddaughter An her friend came An put together for me in about 45 minutes. It's great I love it An is perfect for any sewer who wants heigh comfort. Has a locking wheel --set it against my wall An is very sturdy An doesn't wiggle around when cutting. I am a quilter an seamstress an have been sewing since a young girl. I would reccomend this to anyone who wants a quality cutting table with storage that doesn't want to spent $500.--to $1,000 for the same results.

Both items were listed in stock but I received an email saying they were out of stock a few days after I placed the order. Refund given with no quibble.

Hope to reorder when they are back in stock but would prefer the website to list correct status of items as a few customers have had the same issue.

I was disappointed with the quality and appearance of the needles when they arrived. They were discoloured and all of them broke on the day I used them which has never happened before when I have been felting. However my complaint was well handled and I am waiting replacement needles which I hope will be better,

The top rating is for the customer service by GUR. The bobbins I ordered were delivered in record time. The other part of the order is delivered by a third party - not ideal really - who took almost a month to deliver. KooL at GUR did get it sorted, I s a pity that this would reflect badly on GUR when their service was good.

I had had difficulty tracking down the replacement Janome foot M that I needed. It did not appear on your stock list and the assistant I spoke to went to some trouble to track it down. It was then delivered promptly.

Perfect service and fast delivery of my pfaff free motion foot for my little passport 2..the feet from my pfaff performance 5.2 did not fit. But G,U,R had a really good range of feet. Wonderful service. Highly recommend for anything. Big or small, same good service.
