To the Management. Dear Sirs. I was once voted one of the Top 20 Female Entrepreneurs in Great Britain. By The London Business School, Cosmopolitan Magazine and Wallis Fashions. I attended a tailor made course for entrepreneurs at The London Business School, so I do know a little about running a business and customer retention. Over the last three days I have had the need to phone your company four times. I am a new customer.

Firstly, I was unsure what category my own sewing machine was. I was patiently helped to navigate your web site. Then I called again as I was unaware what a platinum card meant. I wanted to pay by paypal not receive a platinum credit card! I did feel rather silly when I was told "No my love, it purely means you are now a platinum customer of ours!". The gentleman was very kind and didn't make me feel silly at all! "That's what we are here for" I was told. Then, I couldn't get the code I saw to work. "Invalid code".

So I phoned again. "Hello I'm your new Platinum Customer as from today! I need help please." I spoke to Nirmal. He kindly said he would fix it your end if and told me I would get a refund via Paypal. I phoned again the next day as I didn't see it in my email. I went straight through to Nirmal again, sure enough he sorted it there and then. It was my birthday yesterday he wished me a Happy Birthday and said "buy yourself a coffee with it".

In this one, my very first transaction you have gained my trust and loyalty. Even though it is physically impossible for my first order to have arrived at my door, enabling me to check if everything is OK, and instead of coffee, I have just purchased a true cut item from you.

My second transaction. (they are extremely helpful if you have challenges with your hands). It is unfortunate that I was recently struck down with problems in my spine, I am unable to get out or sit and have coffee anywhere. This also means I am now unable to work at anything. Even my hands are experiencing complications. I do however still love to sew and use it as my therapy for hands, head, well being, the lot!

I am writing to say thank-you for the kindness, care and attention I have experienced from your company. I was also astonished when the price comparison popup arrived on my screen! I just wanted to give you some feedback on the 'football' buttons I ordered from GUR. 

I am very, very pleased. They were incredibly good value and the quality of them is excellent. I had some old ones I had bought in Woolworths years ago that were perfect but I couldn't find any modern ones anywhere near the quality - until I found them on your website. Not only that, you had all  the colours I needed and with money off them for cyber Monday! Brilliant.

 I know where to come when I need buttons or haberdashery again.

The kit came promptly and I was able to sew it up in time for my nephews birthday. He was so delighted it made my day.

Even though there was a mixup concerning delivery it was sorted out quickly and efficiently. Being able to get this machine at half price was an added bonus.

I bought the Hobbylock 2 to replace an old stitchmaster overlocker that had broken tension dials, and although GUR did try to find me new ones, this machine was so old that they don't do them anymore, and they couldn't find a replacement to fit. I went for the Pfaff as I have a Pfaff performance 5 sewing machine and I am very happy with it. It was threaded already when it arrived so that was great to just get started. I have since re-threaded it and made a dress, and all is good. I am going to have a practice today with all the other stitches is can do. The lint tray is great, saves a lot of mess that my old one made. I also like the LED light as my sewing room needs a good lighting on the work area. It also came with a box of threads, very happy with that, and was delivered free of charge to me in France.Thank you GUR once again! Nora

I ordered this for my Opal sewing machine and it works like a charm...No more stretching knit fabric as you try to sew as the material can all be placed on the extension table while you work. No stretching from your lap to the machine... The delivery was very fast and it came well packed I will be ordering from this company again

I had a great experience with one on your sales staff, Steve. He was very patient and thorough. There was some difficulty with the pricing: on your system the price was changing as it should, but despite reloading the website several times, the wrong price continued to show on my computer. Anyway, we made the deal over the phone in the end and I was very satisfied with the outcome. Steve emailed me with the whole purchase details. I love the machine, but am slightly disappointed with the extension table as it moves when quilting. I thought the better quality table was offered in the deal and when this one came it had to be assembled and as it is, I'm not sure it's actually much use. Other than that, I think I had a very good purchasing experience. Well done, Steve.

Website was easy to use, delivery was prompt and product was exactly as described. Excellent.

This item arrived in good time.
The only thing I don't like is the needle size is not printed on the needle. Therefore you will need to ensure you always keep the needle away from any others and in the packaging.
