I have been after a coverstitch machine for a couple of years as they are invaluable when sewing knits and give a really professional finnish.
I always buy Janome as have found them to be reliable and easy to use.
I have a janome memory craft embroidery machine, which I bought several years ago from G.U.R.
In November of last year I bought the janome memory craft p600 sewing and quilting machine, from G.U.R. which is excellent.
Recently I bought the janome 3000 coverpro which I love from G.U.R.
I have also purchased several different attachments for the machines, which I also purchased from G.U.R.
Don't think I would go anywhere else for a machine or any attachments.

Once I placed my order it was delivered the next day
The machine was well packaged and all accessories where in the box including the handbook which was so nice as I didn't have to download it.

I ordered from GUR on 2 previous occasions. This is my second Janome sewing machine and it is superb. I have a Janome Sewist 525S, which I've always liked but decided it was time to upgrade to a computerised machine. I decided to go up a couple of notches and I am vert pleased I did. It was an easy transition and this machine is a dream. The only feature I've not tested is the button holes, but I have used the machine to darn so know the button foot works.

The machine arrived safely, quickly and the package tracking was perfect.

I did not leave a review until after Christmas as this was a present and so only been given a proper outing in the last few days.

Really lovely fabric. I got a discount for my birthday which was great. A wonderful member of the team helped me out with finding a product that I could use my discount code for as I was getting a bit disheartened, but I'm very happy with this fabric panel.

After receiving an email from GUR Sewing Machines company offering some special offers I decided to buy a Janome 224A machine.
The ordering process was simple and easy to do, I received a confirmation email of my order and delivery date, my new machine arrived on the day stated and within the time frame advised by the delivery company. I am really happy with whole process.
I haven’t used my new sewing machine yet but hopefully I will be happy with it when I do.

I needed a replacement for my old sewing machine. Having purchased the Novum overlocker and a cover stitch machine from GUR, both of which I have been very pleased with, I decided to purchase the Novum sewing machine.
I finally tried it out this week and am so pleased with it. It runs very smoothly and is so much quieter than my Janome sewing machine.
I tried setting some of the embroidery stitches with pleasing results.
A bonus that I purchased this during the Black Friday event.
Delivery was, as usual with GUR, the next day.

Really pleased with my new machine. Plenty of room for larger projects. So much to love about it, the independent bobbin winder, knee lift, auto cutter and the speed and handling of thicker fabrics. Delivered really quickly from G.U.R. The extra feet I bought are an added bonus to the ones included with machine. This is the 2nd machine I have bought from G.U.R, the other being an embroidery machine. Would recommend both the machine and G.U.R..

Unfortunately my parcel was lost in the post. However, a replacement parcel was promptly despatched.

Set arched and found this bobbin case online, order was easy and arrived on time. Fitted perfectly and machine working happily again after a needle dropped and caused the tiniest knick in case. Why are these things made of plastic!
Rate the service at GUR very good.

I’ve have now bought 3 items off GUR over a period of years a Brother A1 a Brother overlocker 4234D and now a Brother F420. I can truthfully say that I have never had a bad experience when buying off them and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my sewing needs as they are a first class company. If you have any queries or questions they go out of their way to help. Their prices are good and they will price match if you find it cheaper elsewhere. Delivery is excellent.

I’ve had this machine a few months now, because I wanted to give it a proper use before leaving my review. I bought this machine for free motion quilting, to use on my Freestyle quilting frame - I’d been using a Brother NV1800Q (which also doubles as my main sewing machine) but wanted more throat space.
I used the Novum straight out of the box to quilt a bed sized quilt, and I’m really impressed with it. I’ve used Brother machines for more than a decade and was a bit nervous to buy a machine from a brand unknown to me, but the Novum actually performs better than the Brother with quilting. The Brother seemed to require a specific combination of needle, thread and speed to get good quality results, but the Novum performed perfectly with whatever combination I gave it - not a single skipped stitch, thread nest, or snapped thread throughout the whole quilt, not even over the thick seams. I’m extremely impressed with it and am so glad I bought it. Yes it’s big, but it feels really solidly built and performed exactly what I asked of it without drama. 10/10, and if you’re thinking of buying it, you won’t be disappointed.

The company were very helpful and the delivery was ultra quick. I love this machine. It’s so easy to thread just a push off button and whoosh it’s threaded. Needle threader too. It’s quiet and has the whole range of overlock stitches. A good price too. Great machine, great service.

This machine is excellent. The price was excellent too. It has replaced my original sewing machine. The size of the throat space is really good for quilting. It stitches beautifully and copes with fabric from cotton to upholstery material. I would definitely recommend this sewing machine.

Delighted with my Brother storage bag. Haven’t used it yet as I’m still playing with my new machine. I’m sure when I need to store it away it will be very safe in the trolley. It is extremely well made and looks really good too!

From start to finish my experience ordering my machine and accessories from GUR was easy and seamless. My machine arrived in a very timely manner, and in one piece - well wrapped up and ready for the off! Admittedly due to illness I haven't used it as much as I would like over the months, but that changes now! The Janome HD9 II is really a gamechanger when it comes to stitching through layers of fabric or leather. It doesn't bat an eyelid! The stitch quality remains on point, and this is consistent even when the thickness of what is being sewn varies. The finish it delivers is markedly more professional.

I delayed buying this machine for months...I shouldn't have. It really is a cut above what is out there. Thank you GUR for such a swift delivery, and in spite of the delay in using my purchase I am glad I took the leap in buying it: it has already made a difference.

Extreemly disappointed with the GUR service this time, having ordered a replacement overlocker plate on 29th Sept it arrived on the 8th Oct but, an incorrect part. As the complaint procedure is conducted on line and not by phone, 24hours later after sending photos of the incorrect part, I was promised that a correct part would be sent, to date it has not arrived, over two weeks is
an unreasonable length of time to wait for snail delivery.

Easy to use website with a great selection. I was just looking to purchase some bobbins but found the fabric section and decided to treat myself. The fabric is beautiful and delivery was super quick. I will be back.

Good quality items & as described. Happy with the price charged, cheaper than I'd seen elsewhere, too. My first order with the company & happy it was based reasonably local to me in the Midlands, however I was disappointed in dispatch time, hence only 4☆ rating, I do understand that it may have been a busy time but to take a week to dispatch a small order was disappointing, I have received order from China quicker!! Once in the system, however, delivery was quick. I would recommend as long as not in a hurry for order, maybe the delay was because it was my first order, I don't know?

The entire experience of purchase from these guys was positive. Delivery was delayed but that was not the fault of GUR. Overlocker is so easy to use and the difference it’s made to my sewing is huge.

I am very pleased with my purchase. GUR are a great company to deal with. They always answer queries in a prompt friendly manner.
The machine arrived next working day. I used it a couple of days later, as wanted to give it my full time and attention.
It hemmed stretch material like a dream.
It came pre threaded, but I have since threaded it myself, which was easier than threading as overlocker, although I do have the hang of that particular machine now.
I am looking forward to making lots of items and giving them a professional finish.
The machine was on offer and it came with a free carrier, which is brilliant for transporting and keeping machine dust free.
Highly recommend GUR.

I went to the NEC in Birmingham for the Festival of Quilts; I was impressed with the whole day.
The stall for horn furniture was also there, and they had the sewing chair. I had been looking at the chair online, but there were a few negative comments about the comfort, so i had a sit-on one, and i found it comfortable compared to the office chair at home.
I have an account with GUR Sewing Machines. I bought my Novum longarm from them, and the service I have received on all my purchases has been excellent; if there is a problem, they email straight back or call,
And the luxury of paying over a few months, as the chair is expensive, but you get what you pay for; I bought the one that can go high as I have a bad back and thought when I am at my cutting table, I would be a lot better off not having to stand for a long time. So, if you are considering buying this chair, I recommend the Horn sewing chair

I am so pleased with this table it's perfect for the space I have. It is sturdy and well made. My husband assembled it and was impressed with the the high quality fixings. My machine fits in perfect with the perplex inset, which sits on metal pegs not flimsy plastic ones. The table and chair I ordered at the same time work great together.

My husband saw this on your website and thought it would be a good fit, as I was looking for a new machine. Checked it out as machine site were new to me. Using the site was easy straight forward and quick once placed my order was quick to arrive. On arrival machine was as described and on using exceeded my expectation.
