This foot is exactly what I was looking for and with the advice from Gur I went on to purchase the correct fit for my machine. Great customer service :)

More than pleased with my purchase and would recommend the Elna Open-Toe Walking Foot.

Works perfectly, however the wide needle width won’t be compatible with machines with narrower stitch widths and definitely not for many decorative stitches.

Fantastic item, made hemming so much neater and easier. Easy to fit and use, would definitely class as an essential attachment!

This is actually a JANOME walking foot - apparantly they make all Elna machines and accessories now. But is fits my Elna SU (circa 1978) top loading bobbin machine. I needed to push the spring loaded bobin extractor out of the way and I also put a drinking straw around the screw that holds the needle in to make the movement smoother. It loses a start because it is very wide 2cm total, 1.5 across the walking feet bit. Slightly narrower would be better for me. Note that I had already tried a singer/brother generic foot which was cheaper, but did not have the movement to allow me to do a zigzag stitch.

These needles arrived on time and packaged well. Only used one, but so far seems excellent quality

Just right. Excellent service, very quick, despite not living in the U.K.

It is a good quality 1/4 inch foot but it is not an Elna its a Janome foot. I know they are now the same company but in fairness I ordered Elna parts not Janome parts.

This walking foot was easy to fit and does the job well. I sewed a toy made from fur fabric, and it easily fed the fabric through with no sliding or puckering
