Perfect for those who are new to sewing, the Novum Life 157 is a compact and lightweight product which is incredibly easy to use. If you are new to sewing and are looking for the right machine to get you started then you have found the right machine.

The Novum product is a portable strong machine with a top loading bobbin and easily converts to free arm by removing the detachable storage box, easy to thread with controllable stitch selector enabling you to alter stitch length.

Threading is no longer a nightmare, the easy to follow numbered thread path with the built in needle threader gets the job done in seconds. The convenient free arm allows easy access to difficult areas and is ideal for sewing sleeves and trouser legs.

The extra height foot lifter increases the height of the foot allowing to sew extra bulky fabrics, be creative by using the twin needles facility or drop the feed for your own personal free hand embroidery

If the Product develops a fault within the guarantee period which has been caused by defective materials or poor workmanship, we will arrange the collection, repair and return at no cost to the customer. Please retain the original packing materials, in case your item has to be returned to us. In the event that the item should need to be returned to ourselves and the original packaging has not been retained, you will be responsible for any costs incurred by couriers to return the machine to ourselves This does not affect your statutory consumer rights and excludes expendable parts (such as needles, bobbins, bobbin cases, carbon brushes, springs, hooks, loopers, overlock knives, bulbs, belts, needle threaders, needle plates etc), normal wear and tear, negligence and misuse, as stated on the manufacturers guarantee document. The collection and return cover applies to UK mainland addresses only.

Damage caused by other non-Novum devices or programmes used together with this product (including, but not limited to, the use of consumable items and accessory items).
This warranty shall become INVALID if this product is altered in any way (including, but not limited to, as a result of attempted warranty repairs without Novum's authorisation or alteration or removal of the serial number).

This was such a bargain and is amazingly useful and has been used more than I expected in just a few weeks of owning it. As a first time machine owner this is very easy to use with a simple dial to choose the stitch type you want which is shown making it easy. Winding the bobbins is easy.

Surprised that a small machine can have so much power to sew hems on my jeans. Easy to thread and use.....have had machine for 6 months and so far has proved to be a reliable mate
