It has an auto one step buttonhole with 3 styles and a wide range of 100 built in stitches. Simply use the arrow keys below the LCD to access the built in stitches for this machine.

Plenty of features with the Janome GD8100 including the drop feed facility for freehand embroidery and quilting, the speed control slider is adjustable for quick or intricate work, the start and stop button allows you to sew without a foot control, whilst the automatic needle threader takes the strain out of threading the needle.

The Janome GD8100 is a machine suitable for beginners to experienced sewers because of its versatility, allowing you to cope with a varied variety of sewing projects, such as patchwork, quilting, soft furnishing, alterations and home furnishings. If the Product develops a fault within the guarantee period which has been caused by defective materials or poor workmanship, we will arrange the collection, repair and return at no cost to the customer. Please retain the original packing materials, in case your item has to be returned to us. In the event that the item should need to be returned to ourselves and the original packaging has not been retained, you will be responsible for any cost's incurred by couriers to return the machine to ourselves This does not affect your statutory consumer rights and excludes expendable parts (such as needles, bulbs, belts, needle threaders, etc), normal wear and tear, negligence and misuse, as stated on the manufacturers guarantee document. The collection and return cover applies to UK mainland addresses only.

This warranty shall become INVALID if this product is altered in any way (including, but not limited to, as a result of attempted warranty repairs without Janome's authorisation or alteration or removal of the serial number).

The Janome GD8100 Computerised sewing machine is fantastic. After my old one died I was hesitant about getting a computerised model, but it is so easy to use and very good value.

I needed a new sewing machne after my old New home stopped working properly after 35 years of loyal service. I fancied a computerised model to hopefully make life easier but was a little wary of them being too complicated and expensive. This model is excellent, after half an hour I was able to operate the machine without referring to the manual. GUR delivered the machine very quickly as well.
