Pintucks are very popular on dressy blouses and skirts, lingerie and nightwear.
It is a technique much used in Heirloom Sewing for children clothes and christening gowns.
The Pintuck Foot is used with a twin needle to create multiple rows of pintucks.
The grooves on the underside of the foot make it easy to stitch several rows parallel and evenly spaced from each other.
This comes as a set of two feet:- Shallow groove foot; less than 1.5mm in diameter and Deep grove foot; 1.5-2.5mm in diameter.
