    My First 2 Quilt Projects

    By Kim
I have enjoyed sewing with this sewing machine, I love the wide body base, which is fabulous when making things such as quilts. The machine is also lovely to use for free sewing and very easy to swap over from a traditional sewing machine.

The machine is extremely easy to use. When you lift the lid, you have everything you need in your sight of view. Very clear diagrams on the lid with instructions for threading both the machine and the bobbin.
One feature I do like about this machine is on the front there is a button you can push, which makes sure that the sewing needle was always left in your fabric after you have sewn. This is especially useful when you are quilting.

The machine has good storage within its base for Bobbins, sewing feet and accessories,  this enables you to store all relevant accessories for this machine in one easier-to-find place. I have not used this machine with an extension table, but I would imagine that once the extension table is on, it would create a fabulous large area for Sewing.
The only downside to this machine that I can think of is I would have liked to have had more options regarding quilting patterns.
Overall, I am thrilled with this machine and for the cost, I feel it is excellent value.
Here are examples of work I have produced with this machine. The portraits were sewn using a free sewing technique and the quilt was made with a mixture of traditional and free sewing.
