Dresses for Project Dress a Girl

I started doing dresses for project dress a girl in the middle of August 2024. My goal was 30 dresses. But after a few I realised that IF I had a overlocker would become a much faster project! Well I have made 30 dresses and I love my overlocker too! That was my excuse at least when I told my family that I needed one, hehe. I wanted an overlocker for a long long time but never got the chance. Now I have one and my first projects on it, it’s going to make 30 girls very happy with a dress of their very own. These dresses are sent to impoverished countries where girls sometimes have to share their only dress with siblings and take turns on it. These fabrics are from GUR website as well. All came out really well and using the overlocker on the seams was a breeze! Thanks to a video on the GUR YouTube channel I have also been able to learn to rethread and lots of tips to take care of my machine. Thank you!!! Amazing 🤩.
