I made 4 satin kimonos for 4 of the ladies we spent Christmas with. I used my Jaguar overlocker purchased by my husband as my birthday present from Gur and my husqvarna sewing machine I purchased 26 years ago.
I used Patterned satin with plain satin trim, the pattern was a very easy one from a vintage prima pattern I have had for years.
I have used the overlocker for all the seams so no unprofessional looking seams.
I made shorter versions for the older ladies & the granddaughter had fabric with flamingoes on as she loves them. A longer one for my friend Christine as she's very tall and I thought it would suit her better.
All are hand wash and a very cool iron. I finished them off with labels I ordered that said Abigail's creations.
Hope this is sufficient.
