GUR Sewing Machines salutes sewing heroes everywhere

These are certainly strange times. It’s no exaggeration to say that in these lockdown times, more people have turned to sewing than at any time for a couple of generations as a pleasing and rewarding pastime.

Only now, it’s become more important than that – in that it’s become more important. Much more important!

In fact it’s fair to say that sewing has become one of the biggest potential life savers across the globe, as unselfish and serous people everywhere are donating their time and resources to keeping medical staff and others safe by producing facemarks, scrubs, wash bags and headbands in extraordinary quantities!

So once again, we’re thanking all you wonderful seamstresses, seamsters, sewists and sewers everywhere to say

“Thank you – each and every one of you!”
