So many different people love the tranquility that quilting instills in them. It’s rewarding, productive and the end result is a hugely useful and practical one!
Some of GUR’s lovely customers are quite rightly very proud of what they’ve achieved – and even better they send us images and a few words about their exquisite creations.
The two examples shown here demonstrate what a diverse group quilters are!

“I made this small quilt this quilt this weekend with Crafters Companion Threaders 100% cotton fabric in three different colour ways: it has thin wadding between the front and reverse fabric and backed with a coloured back.
“The front fabric was cut with a rotary cutter and quilting ruler to get nice straight lines which makes stitching and lining up seams much crisper. The edge has been bound with a purple bias binding to complete it.”
