Luxury British Activewear Brand products are made in Britain
A recent order of Janome sewing machines and Jaguar overlockers – supplied by GUR – are currently being used by luxury fitness wear company ME V ME Activewear on the production of their Kalon range of clothing in the UK.

Janome sewing machines
Some of the Janome units supplied have a high speed, long arm, heavy duty cover hem facility, that look and operate like typical sewing machines.
Other machines provided feature a seven piece feed mechanism for smooth sewing through both light and heavy fabrics. Integrated into the interface of the unit is a handy speed control lever which is ideal for sewing delicate fabrics, providing crucial precision.
Jaguar overlocker machines
ME V ME are also using GUR’s Jaguar overlocker machines, which feature a 2, 3 or 4 thread option with differential feed. This unit is a favourite among machinists demanding a range of easily produced professional looking finishes way beyond those possible with a more ‘conventional” sewing machine.
The front of the machine opens for cleaning and thread area access. As a result, no special tools or tweezers are needed in order to thread the Jaguar.
