To say that 2000 has been a difficult year is a bit of an understatement! But it’s the year when sewing made a huge comeback and became a more important and significant activity than it has been for many years. Just think scrubs, masks and the backlash against fast fashion in favour of more sustainable methods of manufacture – and of course home sewing and the rapidly increasing surge for refashioning.
