With the Jaguar 492 Sewing Machine it is so easy to get creative and make unique projects. The Jaguar 492 can handle all types of fabric from silks to soft furnishing materials, it’s suitable for all levels of sewing from beginners, experienced and even professional users can get the best out of this computerized machine.

The Jaguar 492 Sewing Machine has a huge range of features that make quilting and sewing much more productive. The extra high presser foot lift and extra needle penetration power of the Jaguar lets you sew across heavier fabrics & multiple layers. The extension table can be removed which includes the accessories box, it converts to free arm for circular sewing and darning.

Other useful features include an LED Light for clear visibility, speed control slider and a Start/Stop Button to sew either with or without the foot control. The Jaguar 492 has a wide range of 60 stitches, 4 one step buttonhole styles and easy threading system, creating original and imaginative sewing has never been easier.

If the Product develops a fault within the guarantee period which has been caused by defective materials or poor workmanship, we will arrange the collection, repair and return at no cost to the customer. Please retain the original packing materials, in case your item has to be returned to us. In the event that the item should need to be returned to ourselves and the original packaging has not been retained, you will be responsible for any costs incurred by couriers to return the machine to ourselves This does not affect your statutory consumer rights and excludes expendable parts (such as needles, bobbins, bobbin cases, carbon brushes, springs, hooks, loopers, overlock knives, bulbs, belts, needle threaders, needle plates etc), normal wear and tear, negligence and misuse, as stated on the manufacturers guarantee document. The collection and return cover applies to UK mainland addresses only.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect or inappropriate use, misuse, negligence or accident (including, but not limited to, the transport of this product without proper preparation or packaging); and
Damage caused by other non-Jaguar devices or programmes used together with this product (including, but not limited to, the use of consumable items and accessory items).
This warranty shall become INVALID if this product is altered in any way (including, but not limited to, as a result of attempted warranty repairs without Jaguar's authorisation or alteration or removal of the serial number).

Good morning, About 3 yrs ago I bought the Singer Confidence 7463 machine, the timing went on it for some reason and even though it had a 15 yr guarantee this was not covered, so I took it to a local repairer to be done, now it has gone again so it is going in the bin. So could you tell me if this is a better machine, I only do a limited amount of sewing hems on jeans skirts etc but I do want it computerised as you never know!! Or is there something else you would recommend- I have never heard of jaguar, only cars. Thank you. Lesley

The machine was really good value as bought in Black Friday sale and came with really good free items. The bag is of really good quality. The machine is a good weight and should be quite stable in use. The machine has not been used as yet, it is a Christmas present for my 10 year old granddaughter. To be able to get a computerised machine for this price for her to use on her own is fantastic. She loves using my computerised machine but cannot be left with it alone as it was very expensive. Although not as many stitches as my machine the Jaguar has a really good looking selection. A good starter machine for any beginner. Well impressed as yet.
